In this latest version, it’s all about data. We’ve made upgrades to how data is accessed, shared, and analyzed across Kneat Gx. Some of the new key features include:
Global Data Management
Data Entities can now be used across instances, including multiple workspaces, for greater accessibility and control. For the first time, users can insert, assign, and trace Entities across separate workspaces for improved time savings.
NEW Risk Entity
Kneat Gx uses a system called Entities — like datasets used as a building block for streamlined, automated digital validation. In this release, we’re debuting Risk Entities to more easily trace across validation activities and enable risk-based validation.
Enhanced Entity Use
Risk Entities are the latest usable dataset, joining System, Test Case, Equipment, and File Entities. All Entities can now be created directly in a document, a significant user experience enhancement. Entity placeholders can now be put in Section Group Templates, streamlining their use across standardized processes.
More Powerful RTM
Kneat’s Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) provides users with an automatic, in-app matrix to trace documents, tests, risks, and more. We’re leveling it up in Kneat Gx v9.5 to feature advanced filtering, more intuitive navigation, previews, and greater visibility.

Global Entities
With Entities now being shared across Workspaces, the work you do can be easily replicated, allowing you to re-use critical data points to ensure consistency and gain a unified view of your validation landscape. By creating an Entity in your Global Workspace, you can leverage data across any project, saving significant time.
Connecting Entities across workspaces also forges seamless connections for more collaboration and improved data consistency. This new feature will greatly assist companies in the process of harmonizing and standardizing their validation across their global organization, while still allowing for site-by-site flexibility.
Risk Entity
Being able to define, organize, and trace your risks eliminates the need for external tools and workarounds. By natively creating your Risk Entities, you can keep critical data centralized and empower risk-based validation, like that recommended in Computer Software Assurance (CSA) practices.
Real-Time RTM
New controls on the in-app RTM enable users to dynamically filter and customize their RTM views. Isolate the data you’re looking for, tailor the view to your requirements to eliminate wasted time and make faster, more confident decisions with an RTM that adapts to your workflows.
