Entity Masking

Kneat Gx uses data to greatly accelerate validation cycle times and enhance validation processes. However, not every organization needs the same data types, and not every site has the same work processes.

Entity Masks allow customers to customize Kneat Gx their way, so formats fit their business processes and specifications.

For example, when performing equipment validation, a user can configure their process so specific attributes are selectable and irrelevant ones are not.

This greater autonomy further streamlines validation by removing clutter, enhancing ease of use, and speeding training time.

Test Case Management

New standalone Test Case Entities allow users to create test cases outside of documents, allowing for quick creation of test documents using information, such as:

• Test Case ID
• Description
• Test Types
• Preconditions
• Traceability

These details are used along with an executable test step matrix and test conclusion field to enable quick test case generation. To execute the test, users perform a Test Run within the created document, which mirrors the test case, and allows entry into executable cells.

Test case entities can be traces to other pieces of data, including relationships, entity metadata, attributes, and requirements — which further enhances a risk-based approach to validation.

As with all updates, Kneat Gx 9.3 unveils a host of UI enhancements that enable smoother use, easier administration, greater control, and reporting. Such enhancements include updates to:
