April 16, 2019 | Kneat Launches Annual ‘Customer Summit’ to Enable Customer-Driven Development

HALIFAX, April 16, 2019/– Kneat is pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural Kneat Customer Summit, the first in a series of annual customer-focused events that aim to enhance Kneat’s customers’ experience and enable customer-driven development for future software releases.

Over two days next month, thirty customer representatives from the United States and Europe will gather in Raleigh, North Carolina for a full day interactive conference and a banquet dinner at North Carolina’s Museum of Natural Sciences– among prehistoric fossil exhibits.

“It’s our hope that the Kneat Customer Summit becomes a focal point for engaging with our customers each year, said Kneat’s Chief Executive Officer, Eddie Ryan.

“We see this event as a tremendous opportunity to increase customers’ say in how Kneat Gx is developed, and tailor our product more closely around their needs at all levels from the end-user to project leaders and executives.”

The theme for the 2019, inaugural Kneat Customer Summit is ‘Digitizing Validation for the Future’, and will involve workshops, user panel discussions, other interactive sessions and a keynote presentation from industry leader, Melissa Seymour, Vice-President, Global Quality Control, Biogen on “The Future of Quality.”

 

About Melissa Seymour
Melissa Seymour is the Vice President of Global Quality Control for Biogen, Inc., assuming responsibility for the comprehensive strategy and implementation of Global QC testing of Raw Materials, Drug Substance, Drug Product and Finished Goods worldwide. Prior to this, Melissa served as the Vice President of Corporate Quality with responsibility for global compliance and quality systems including management of Quality Systems, Internal and External Auditing and Global Affiliate GMP oversight. Melissa holds BS degrees in both Biological Sciences and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University and an executive MBA from Duke University. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in the quality arena including quality positions at Novo Nordisk pharmaceuticals and Glaxo Smith Kline. Melissa is a member of the Board of Directors for PDA as well as and Interest Group leader for Tech Transfers and a core member of the PDA PAC iAM Task Force. Melissa is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Manager and has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Rx-360 Consortium focused on supply chain security.
