Kneat Gx requires that each user log in with a unique username and password to gain access to the system. When the user specifies their password, it is encrypted using a one-way algorithm and stored in the database. Each time the user logs in, Kneat.Gx verifies the password entered. It encrypts the password using the same algorithm and compares the encrypted password with the stored version. The encrypted password cannot be decrypted.
